Sweet Madness is Trikoma Seeds’ own selection. Its documented cross joins Somango and Critical, two lines with very distinct contributions within the final result. Somango is responsible for the fruity, sweet character that defines the strain’s aroma profile; Critical brings the indica base, the compactness of the plant and the contained flowering cycle recorded in the technical data.

The declared split is 75% indica and 25% sativa, with an indoor flowering of 55 to 60 days and a declared THC of 18–23%. It is a clearly indica-dominant profile, but without reaching the extreme of the almost pure indicas in the catalogue, which leaves it in an intermediate position between the two.

We do not attribute to this strain any story, award or date that is not documented: it is a line of the bank, defined by its cross and by the profile its page describes. Sweet Madness comes from our own mother plants, selected and maintained at our bank in Barcelona, and every format on this page comes from that same selection. We do not distribute third-party material and we do not resell genetics from other banks.

What makes this strain recognisable

The aroma profile of Sweet Madness is direct and easy to place: sweet, with forest-fruit notes. There are no earthy, spicy or fermented layers to complicate the reading. It is a clean sweetness, of ripe red fruit — blackberry, raspberry, blueberry —, more juicy than honeyed, and that clarity is precisely what makes it recognisable within the catalogue.

That character is explained by the Somango contribution in the cross, which is the line that carries the fruit load, while Critical takes care of the body and the structure. The result is a strain in which the aroma goes one way — bright and fruity — and the architecture of the plant another — closed and dense —, a combination that is not repeated in the rest of the pages in the catalogue.

In structure, the declared 75% indica translates into a compact, robust plant, with a contained habit, short internodes and dense buds. The declared indoor flowering of 55 to 60 days places it in the medium-short band of the catalogue, below the sativas and above the faster indicas.

About the large formats

The 100-seed and 1,000-seed packs are single-strain. They are not mixes or assorted lots: they contain only Sweet Madness and come from exactly the same selection of mother plants as the small pack, without separating batches by format.
