OG Confidential comes from the cross between LA Affie and Afgani, two lines of Afghan root. The Afghan branch is the historical starting point of almost all modern indicas: it reached the United States from Central Asia and, once in California, gave rise to local selections such as LA Affie itself, associated with the Los Angeles area. The OG Kush lineage was built on that same substrate, which is why this cross sits within the same family.

What makes this strain recognisable

OG Confidential clearly separates aroma and flavour, and that splitting is its most characteristic trait. On the nose a penetrating sweetness dominates, intense and imposing itself straight away; on the palate, however, the register turns towards the earthy with a spicy edge, drier and more seasoned than the aroma anticipates. It is a common contrast in lines of Afghan root and here it appears in a marked way.

Morphologically, the page describes it as a plant of medium height and compact structure, with dense, resinous flowers. The most distinctive visual detail are the pistils of lilac and reddish tones, which contrast with the mantle of resin and make the flowers easy to recognise.

The packs of 100 and 1,000 seeds of OG Confidential are single-strain, with no mixes: all the seeds come from the same selection as the small pack, not from a different lot or an assortment.
