It is associated with a highly productive hybrid built on Skunk and Afghan material, which established itself in European banks and has since given rise to a whole family of selections and variants, each bank with its own. The sweet and earthy touch and the high productivity are the marks by which it is usually recognised.<\/p>\n<p>The data sheet for this version declares a cross of Critical Bilbo \u00d7 AK-74 \u00d7 Ruderalis. To the Critical base is added the AK-74 lineage, which contributes the fruity component, and a line of Cannabis ruderalis, the short-cycle subspecies adapted to high latitudes. That third component is what makes the strain autoflowering: in a photoperiod plant flowering starts when the photoperiod changes, whereas here the move from growth to flowering depends on the age of the plant.<\/p>\n<p>Critical Plus Auto was one of the first autoflowering strains we brought to market and it is still one of the best sellers in this family. The data sheet describes it as sugary, fruity and earthy, with notes of hashish: three registers that do not usually coexist. The sweetness opens, the fruit appears halfway up and the earthy background with that resinous touch of hashish is what closes. On the palate, the declared note is of nuts and fruit, somewhat drier and with less sugar than the aroma anticipates.<\/p>\n<p>In structure it is a short plant that rarely exceeds 90 cm, with a compact bearing that concentrates production in a small volume. That contained bearing, together with the density of flowers it gathers in so little space, is what defines it against the larger autoflowering strains in the range.<\/p>\n<p>As in any seed population there is variation between phenotypes: these traits describe the average of the selection, not one particular specimen.<\/p>\n<h2>How it fits within the catalogue<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trikomaseeds.com\/en\/semillas\/critical-plus\/\">Critical Plus feminized<\/a>:<\/strong> the photoperiod version of the same line. Same Critical lineage, but it enters flowering when the photoperiod changes and not by age. They are single-strain packs, with no mixes: all the seeds come from the same selection of mother plants as the small format, so what changes is the quantity and not the genetic material.<\/p>\n<p>The difference is in the price per seed, which drops from \u20ac3.33 in the small format to \u20ac2.40 in the 100-seed pack and to \u20ac1.20 in the 1,000-seed pack.
